Where is Sanya?

It is  6,065 miles from Sanya to Blackpool

Sanya is on the Southern coast of the Island of Hainan It is renowned for its tropical climate and has emerged as one of China’s popular tourist destinations.

Blackpool is on the west cost of the UK  It rose to prominence as a major centre of tourism in England when a railway was built in the 1840s connecting it to the industrialised regions of Northern England.

Sanya enjoys nearly 300 days of sunlight every year, which is the longest in China, and thus dubbed “the Sun City.”

Blackpool has, like all of the UK, a temperate maritime climate Thus the same cool summer, frequent overcast skies, and small annual temperature range is typical.

Sanya has a population of around 685,000 inhabitants living in an area of 740 square miles.

Blackpool has a population of around 142,065 inhabitants living in an area of 13.4 square miles.

Sanya is home to the largest gold and jade Buddha statue, Nan Shan “Gold and Jade Bodhisattva Guanyin”, in the world.

Blackpool is home to the world’s largest mirror ball situated on the promenade of Blackpool’s South Shore
